It is a pretty common occurrence in high school to hear the words, “I love my outfit today,” come out of a teenage girl’s mouth. It is also very common to hear something along the lines of, “I love how these jeans make me look! They’re perfect!” With that being said, Jennifer Brohm, wife of the head coach of the Western Kentucky University Football team, has probably heard these same phrases many times, but never actually said them herself.
“I’m still looking for that perfect pair of jeans,” Jennifer admitted. “In my 40 some-odd years, I haven’t found them yet. It seems like the mom jeans might be coming back in style and that’s probably what I need right now,” she mentioned with a giggle.
So, instead of a perfect pair of jeans, what else presents itself in Jennifer’s closet? “I’m kind of in between where I’m at and where I want to be. Sometimes it works out and I pull things together and think, ‘I did good. This looks good,’” she laughed. “I did have a new red dress and then I wore my red dress and my cowboy boots to a concert, so I did like that outfit.”
As far as her dream closet goes, Jennifer explained, “I really like the dress-up casual look. Something that’s casual, comfortable, kid-friendly, but you can go to dinner in it too. Casual dressy.”
Jennifer may not have found that perfect pair of jeans yet, but it definitely sounds like she has a vision for her personal style. In the words of Coco Chanel, “Fashion changes, but style endures.”
